Choosing the Right Golf Lessons for Kids

Some advice about Golf Lessons for Kids

Now that you introduced your kid to golf and he/she is really enjoying it...the next step for you is to look for a golf lessons for kids. Keep in mind that, as a parent of a junior golfer, you will have a big influence on your kid golfing game.

Indeed, If you are an avid golfer, you may choose to be your son's or daughter's golf teacher - maybe a mental coach...you may even think of being both at the same time! It is do-able but don't forget to be indulgent with yourself and your young golfer.

In other words...don't push your kids too hard.


You may decide to leave the junior golf lessons to a golf teaching professional , in a private or public golf club, and be just a mental coach who will be supportive and encouraging.

Whatever title you choose to wear, take my one peace of advice in this subject: Never forget that your junior golfer is just a Kid who wants to play for the Fun! So, just relax and enjoy watching your kid having fun when playing golf.

In the first stage of learning golf, let your kid have some easygoing game attitude when golfing with You! Your kid will enjoy Golfing more and his/her talent will be more then grateful to you for that.

What your junior must do before and during each Golf Lesson:

During first lessons, young golfer learn the basic of golfing like how to have a good grip, the importance of good alignment and posture, and most importantly they will learn golf rules and golf etiquette.

Here is what your junior golfer should do before the beginning of each lesson:

  • Be on the course at least 20 minutes
  • warm up his/her muscles by doing some simple stretches
  • practice some balls in the driving range

    Here is what your kid should do during each lesson:

  • be attentive to his instructor
  • Stay focused on the game
  • Review the golf rules and etiquette as often as needed
  • Enjoy the game and have fun playing with the rules

  • Your talented kid deserve a good start in Golf! by offering your son or daughter a Junior Golf Lessons you are giving them the chance to participate in golf tournaments , socializing with other young golfers and compete against them.

    The Best that can happen to your junior?...winning a golf scholarship! So, let's get the Junior Golf Lessons begin,
